What things cost
These are the ranges most jobs fall into. Your exact price depends on the lock and the door, and you'll hear it before we start — not after.
Standard pin-tumbler or mortise lock, opened without drilling in most cases.
Non-destructive entry for most makes and models.
Removing a broken key from a door lock, padlock, or car. Often bundled with a lockout on the same visit.
Deadbolt or lever, hardware and labor included.
Mul-T-Lock or comparable UL 437-rated cylinder, hardware and labor included.
Only when picking isn't realistic. Priced and confirmed with you before we drill anything.
Ranges reflect typical jobs during our 8:00 AM–8:00 PM hours. No separate trip or service-call fee — it's built into the price above. Unusual hardware, multiple locks on one door, or extensive damage may run outside these ranges; you'll always hear the number before we start.
How it works
The price you hear on the phone is the price on the invoice, unless the job changes once we're on site — and even then, you hear the new number before we touch anything.
The lock, the door, and what's wrong. (917) 970-2894 or use the form below.
Based on what you've described, before anyone is dispatched.
A hidden second lock or a drill job comes with its own number, agreed before we start it.
No add-on fees, no surprise line items on the invoice.
Questions
No. Other locksmiths often add a $40–80 trip charge on top of the job price. Ours is built into the numbers above — the price you hear on the phone is the total for getting a technician to your door and doing the work.
Some locksmiths quote a low number to get you to say yes, then raise it once they're at your door. We quote based on what you describe, and if the job turns out to be different once we're on site, you hear the new price before we start — you're never billed for a surprise.
No. We're on the phone 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day, and the prices above apply throughout those hours, weekends included.
Zelle, cash, or card by terminal or payment link, due when the job is complete.
All three. LexKey Locksmith LLC is a mobile locksmith based in Brooklyn, licensed citywide, taking calls across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
Where we work
We don't charge more for one borough over another. A mobile locksmith comes to you, and the ranges above hold across all three boroughs during our hours.
