These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of lexkey.pro and the locksmith services provided by LexKey Locksmith LLC ("LexKey," "we," "us"), a licensed mobile locksmith operating in Brooklyn, NY (NYC DCWP License #2135289-DCWP).
Our Services
LexKey provides residential, commercial, and emergency locksmith services — lockouts, lock repair, lock and hardware installation, and key services — performed by licensed technicians at your location.
Booking a Job
Contacting us by phone, text, or our website form is a request for a locksmith visit. A price quoted before the visit is an estimate based on the information you give us; the final price may change if the technician finds the job requires more work, parts, or time once on site. We always confirm the final price with you before starting or completing chargeable work.
Identity & Proof of Ownership
For lockout services, you may be asked to show ID and proof that you live at or own the property (lease, mail, or utility bill in your name) before we perform the work. This protects you and us.
Payment
Payment is due when the service is completed. We accept Zelle, cash, or card (by terminal or payment link).
Cancellations
There's no fee to cancel or reschedule — even if a technician has already been dispatched. Just let us know as soon as you can by calling or texting (917) 970-2894.
Warranty
Labor and the parts we install on lock repairs and installations are warrantied for 90 days from the service date. This warranty covers workmanship and the hardware we installed; it does not cover damage from misuse, forced entry, or issues unrelated to the original job.
Limitation of Liability
LexKey performs work with care and in line with standard industry practice. To the extent permitted by law, LexKey is not liable for pre-existing damage to your door, frame, or lock discovered during the job, or for damage from a lock or door already compromised before our arrival. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for that service.
Licensing
LexKey Locksmith LLC is licensed by the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP), License #2135289-DCWP, verifiable through the NYC DCWP license lookup.
Website Use
By using lexkey.pro, you agree not to misuse the site — no false information, no attempts to disrupt the site, no unlawful use. Content on this site (text, photos, design) belongs to LexKey Locksmith LLC and may not be copied without permission.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
